Is there anything more terrifying than a cat with dilated pupils, aeroplane ears, and a twitching tail? Cats in hunting mode are so cute yet so dangerous. When you see those eyes get big and the booty wiggle begin, you know you're in trouble. Maybe you moved a finger from under the blankets, and that's enough for a cat to activate full hunting mode. If there is one thing we know, it is that cats are the cutest hunters in the world. They hunt your fingers, they hunt bugs, they hunt flashing lights, they hunt anything that moves too fast. The moment something moves quickly, it catches their attention, and they switch into alert mode. For some unfathomable reason, many cats decide to practice their hunting skills at 2 AM when the house is silent and everyone is asleep. After all, they are protecting the home from the invisible enemies. Unfortunately, those enemies can sometimes be all the stuff on your kitchen counter. It could be a decorative plant, a glass of water, or your keys. Anything that was left on a counter could be the chosen one. In the middle of a cat's mental breakdown, they feel like knocking everything off the counter is the best idea ever.
